About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to every booking made with DB Executive Cars Ltd, company number 17374423, registered office Axis 8, Axis Court, Riverside Business Park, Swansea Vale, Swansea, Wales, SA7 0AJ, trading as "DB Executive Cars". By asking us to confirm a booking, you agree to these terms.

Enquiries and confirming a booking

You can send an enquiry through our website, by email or by phone. Our reservations desk aims to reply within 30 minutes to confirm availability. No booking is confirmed, and no payment is taken through this website, until we have sent you written confirmation by email setting out the vehicle, chauffeur, timings and total cost. It is this written confirmation, not the initial quote, that forms the contract between us.

Pricing

The starting prices shown on our website are indicative. Your final price is based on the vehicle, mileage, duration and itinerary of your journey, and is always agreed with you and confirmed in writing before your booking is treated as confirmed. Your price includes the vehicle, your chauffeur, fuel and standard waiting time. It does not change unless you ask for something different on the day, such as an additional stop or an extended hire, in which case we will confirm any extra cost with you before it is added.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit required, are set out in your written booking confirmation. Corporate account clients may be invoiced monthly, on the terms agreed when the account was set up.

Waiting time

For airport transfers, we track your flight from departure and adjust your collection time automatically, and standard waiting time is included at no extra cost. For other journeys, the waiting time included in your fare is set out in your booking confirmation; additional waiting time beyond that may be charged, and we will let you know before it is added.

Changes to your booking

We understand plans change. Contact our reservations desk or dispatch as early as possible if you need to amend your pickup time, route, or add a stop. We will do our best to accommodate the change and will confirm any effect on price before it is applied. Changes are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability, particularly for weddings and events where our fleet is limited.

Cancellations

Our cancellation charges are set out in our Cancellation Policy. The specific notice period and any charge that applies to your booking will also be confirmed in writing when your booking is made.

What we ask of you

• Give us accurate pickup, drop-off and flight information, and tell us about any special requirements, such as child seats, extra luggage or accessibility needs, as early as possible.
• Treat the vehicle and your chauffeur with respect. You are responsible for the conduct of your party and for any damage caused to the vehicle beyond normal wear, which may be charged to you at the cost of repair or cleaning.
• Let us know promptly of any change of plan so we can keep your journey on schedule.

Our chauffeurs and vehicles

All chauffeurs are DBS-checked, uniformed and trained in executive protocol and advanced driving. Our fleet is maintained to concours standard. We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or higher specification where circumstances beyond our control make this necessary, and we will tell you if this happens.

Liability

We will take all reasonable steps to deliver your journey on time and as agreed. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, airline delays or air traffic control restrictions, though we will keep you informed and do what we reasonably can to minimise any disruption. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.

Privacy

Any personal data you give us is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
